Adults
Grace has an active fellowship of adults who meet regularly in small and parish-wide groups to socialize,
deepen their spirituality and help others in the community and in our parish. In addition to daily services,
we offer weekly fellowship opportunities at different times of the day and evening. We have a monthly potluck
supper as well as monthly Men’s and Women’s book groups. There are many opportunities to contribute and socialize at Grace.
Adult Sunday Seminars
Our weekly Adult Seminar meets each Sunday between the 9 and 11:15 am services at 10:25 am.
These seminars cover a range of topics that are designed to help parishioners deepen their spirituality
and learn more about the work of local ministries in our parish and around the community.
Adult Seminars in April include the following
May 5 & 12 "Spirituality of Parenting with Catherine Morrisett, DMin. of the Grace Counseling Center in Madison, will present this adult seminar. Parenting is a rewarding and joyful activity. it is also draining, arduous and time consuming. There is a spiritual dimension to this special form of care and relating.
May 19 Faith Forum led by parishioners provides an opportunity for us to discuss some of the issues, challenges and joys of our faith lives.
May 26 we will return to our Summer Schedule of worship services at 8 am, 10 am and 6 pm. During that time we don't hold Adult Seminars. Look for new Adult Seminars in September.
Adult Inquirers’ Class
In February and March, Mother Lauren offers an Adult Inquirers’ class for parishioners who wish to explore
what it means to be an Anglican or Episcopalian and for those who would like to be confirmed or
received in the Episcopal Church. (Parishioners who have been previously confirmed in the Catholic
Church are "received" in the Episcopal Church rather than confirmed, again.)
Seasonal Study Groups
During the year we offer book study groups for adults. There is not a group currently running, but please check back periodically. We will post the offering here.
